NOVELTY - The preparation process of proton exchange membrane fuel cell catalyst, involves placing putting the carbon material and the ball milling beads into the ball milling tank, and passing into the ball milling tank the gas containing ozone and ball milling to obtain a surface functionalized carbon material. The metal precursor salt solution is sent into the ball milling tank through the air inlet of the ball milling tank, while closing the air inlet and continuing the ball milling. The post-processing is performed to obtain a supported catalyst after the ball milling. The carbon material comprises a carbon black, graphitized carbon, graphite, carbon nanotube and graphene. USE - Preparation method of proton exchange membrane fuel cell catalyst (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The process of atmosphere ball milling is used to modify the surface of carbon materials, while promoting the mild reaction between ozone and carbon materials in the ball mill tank, and functionalizing the surface of carbon materials, which can increase and regulate the proportion of oxygen-containing functional groups on the surface of carbon materials. The crushing process, surface modification process and loading process are combined into one process to save time and cost.
