NOVELTY - Manufacture of mesoporous-graphene oxide/unsaturated polyester resin involves mixing ethylene glycol, mesoporous powder, graphite oxide powder and KH570 (RTM: silane coupling agent), ball-milling to obtain mixed solution powder, heating and grinding to obtain mesoporous-hybrid graphene oxide powder, mixing ethylene glycol, butylene glycol and mesoporous-hybrid graphene oxide powder, adding 4,4'-diphenyl ether dicarboxylic acid, fumaric acid and catalyst, stirring, polymerizing, adding bisphenol A diisocyanate chain extender and stabilizer, reacting, cooling, and crushing. USE - Manufacture of mesoporous-graphene oxide/unsaturated polyester resin (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables manufacture of mesoporous-graphene oxide/unsaturated polyester resin with excellent heat resistance, interface compatibility, abrasion resistance and bonding strength between unsaturated polyester and mesoporous-graphene oxide hybrid powder, by simple method with high productivity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Manufacture of mesoporous-graphene oxide/unsaturated polyester resin involves mixing ethylene glycol, mesoporous powder, graphite oxide powder and KH570 (RTM: silane coupling agent) in weight ratio of 20:1:1:0.2, ball-milling for 2-4 hours to obtain mixed solution powder having particle size of less than 1.5 microns, heating the mixed solution at 120 degrees C for 3 hours, cooling, filtering, drying and grinding to obtain mesoporous-hybrid graphene oxide powder, mixing ethylene glycol, butylene glycol and mesoporous-hybrid graphene oxide powder in a reactor, adding 4,4'-diphenyl ether dicarboxylic acid, fumaric acid and catalyst, ultrasonically dispersing for 1 hour, stirring, polymerizing at 180-230 degrees C until the acid value of the reaction mixture is less than 25 mg potassium hydroxide/g, adding bisphenol A diisocyanate chain extender and stabilizer, reacting at 180-200 degrees C for 30 minutes, cooling, and crushing. The ratio of 4,4'-diphenyl ether dicarboxylic acid, fumaric acid, ethylene glycol, butylene glycol and bisphenol A diisocyanate chain extender is 1:3:3:1:0.1-1. The content of mesoporous-hybrid graphene oxide powder is 1-5 wt.%. The amount of catalyst is 0.1-1.5 wt.%. The amount of stabilizer is 0.1-1 wt.%. The mesoporous powder is SBA-15 mesoporous powder and MCM-41 mesoporous powder, and has pore size of 2-50 nm and specific surface area of 500-800 m2/g. The graphite oxide powder has dimension of 1-5 m, oxygen content of 20-30%, interlayer distance of 0.74 nm and average surface area of 5-10 m2/g. The catalyst is antimony oxide and p-toluenesulfonic acid. The stabilizer is triphenyl phosphate or resorcinol.
