NOVELTY - Preparing titanium dioxide pillared graphene composite material comprises adding graphite powder and ammonium persulfate into concentrated sulfuric acid, slowly adding hydrogen peroxide during the stirring process, reacting, washing and drying to obtain expanded graphite, dispersing expanded graphite into N-methylpyrrolidone, ultrasonically peeling in cell pulverizer of 285-295W for 20-30 minutes, centrifuging and taking the supernatant to obtain graphene solution, adding butyl titanate into graphene solution, sonicating for 35-45 minutes, washing with ethanol to remove butyl phthalate which did not enter the graphene layer, then adding diethanolamine and distilled water during stirring and placing in reaction kettle at 165-175 degrees C for 5-6 hours, then washing the obtained mixture to neutral for secondary hydrothermal reaction and placing in a reaction vessel at 165-175 degrees C for hydrothermal reaction for 7-9 hours, finally filtering, washing and drying. USE - The method is useful preparing titanium dioxide pillared graphene composite material. ADVANTAGE - The method exhibits excellent photocatalytic rate in the process of degrading methylene blue. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing titanium dioxide pillared graphene composite material comprises adding 10-20 pts. wt. graphite powder and 5-15 pts. wt. ammonium persulfate into 45-55 pts. wt. concentrated sulfuric acid, slowly adding 7-9 pts. wt. hydrogen peroxide during the stirring process, reacting at 25-35 degrees C for 7-9 hours, washing and drying to obtain expanded graphite, dispersing expanded graphite into 90-100 pts. wt. N-methylpyrrolidone, ultrasonically peeling in cell pulverizer of 285-295W for 20-30 minutes, centrifuging and taking the supernatant to obtain graphene solution, adding 15-25 pts. wt. butyl titanate into graphene solution, sonicating for 35-45 minutes, washing with ethanol to remove butyl phthalate which did not enter the graphene layer, then adding 2-4 pts. wt. diethanolamine and 30-40 pts. wt. distilled water during stirring and placing in reaction kettle at 165-175 degrees C for 5-6 hours, then washing the obtained mixture to neutral for secondary hydrothermal reaction and placing in a reaction vessel at 165-175 degrees C for hydrothermal reaction for 7-9 hours, finally filtering, washing and drying.
