NOVELTY - The method involves fixing a graphite bipolar plate on a gas leakage detecting device. Determination is made to check whether gas leaked in a polar plate cavity exceeds a threshold value through the gas leak detection device. A first air port is blocked when the gas leaked exceeds the threshold value. Coloring penetrant is injected from a second air port into the polar plate cavities from the second air ports. A colored osmotic agent is shaken on an inner surface of the graphitic bipolar plate to observe the color of an outer surface of a graphic bipolar plate. Leakage position of the graphene bipolar plate is determined. USE - Method for testing leakage position of a graphite bipolar plate for a fuel cell i.e. lithium-ion fuel cell, of a vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The method enables detecting the specific leakage position through the coloring penetrant, so as to guide the production process of the bipolar plate, thus avoiding the leakage of gas or liquid in an efficient manner.
