NOVELTY - Preparation of glass fiber air filtration paper involves immersing the pre-treated glass fibers in graphene dispersion solution, processing at 80-120 degrees C, removing the glass fibers, drying, immersing the resultant glass fibers in solution (A) obtained by mixing titanium source and sulfuric acid solution, heating at 110 degrees C, adjusting pH to 7, aging, removing the glass fibers, washing, drying, obtaining silver/titanium dioxide-loaded glass fibers, mixing glass fibers with water and acid, molding to form wet paper, sizing using acrylic emulsion and waterproof emulsion mixture and drying. USE - Preparation of glass fiber air filtration paper (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method provides glass fiber air filtration paper having excellent antibacterial property. Silver and titanium dioxide are uniformly dispersed on the glass fibers, increase the glass fiber interaction area and glass fiber interface binding force, such that the strength and stiffness of the air filtration paper are improved. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of glass fiber air filtration paper involves preparing 0.1-1 mg/ml graphene quantum dot dispersion solution, adding 0.01-0.03 mol/L silver nitrate solution, ultrasonically stirring, reacting at 45-60 degrees C, adding 0.1-0.8 mol/L trisodium citrate dihydrate, mixing for 60-120 minutes, adding glass fibers, ultrasonically stirring speed for 30-60 minutes, removing the glass fibers, drying, obtaining pre-treated glass fibers, immersing the pre-treated glass fibers in 80-100 ml graphene dispersion solution, ultrasonically stirring for 10 minutes, adding the resultant solution into a polytetrafluoroethylene reactor, processing at 80-120 degrees C for 15-30 minutes, removing the glass fibers, drying, immersing the resultant glass fibers in solution (A) obtained by mixing 0.1-0.3 M titanium source and 1 M sulfuric acid solution, heating at 110 degrees C for 3-5 hours, adjusting pH to 7 using concentrated aqueous ammonia solution, aging for 12 hours, removing the glass fibers, washing, drying, obtaining silver/titanium dioxide-loaded glass fibers, mixing 40-60 pieces glass fibers having diameter of 3-3.5 mm, and 10-15 pieces glass fibers having diameter of 0.8-1 mu m with water and acid, stirring, obtaining 0.2-0.4 %mass pulp suspension, molding in a molding machine to form wet paper, sizing using acrylic emulsion and waterproof emulsion mixture as sizing material, and drying the resultant paper to moisture content of less than 45% at 100-200 degrees C. The glass fibers are prepared by uniformly mixing 50-55 wt.% silica, 10-15 wt.% boron(III) oxide, 0.1-0.5 wt.% sodium oxide, 10-15 wt.% alumina and 15-20 wt.% calcium oxide, crushing, adding the resultant mixture into a 400 mL-corundum crucible at 1370 degrees C, melting at 1450 plus minus 10 degrees C, molding at 1200 degrees C, annealing in a muffle furnace at 500 degrees C, obtaining glass melt and drawing into glass fibers at 1050 degrees C. The graphene quantum dot dispersion solution is prepared by dispersing graphene quantum dots in water, acetone or dimethyl sulfoxide as solvent. The addition amount of graphene quantum dot dispersion solution is 50-60 ml. The volume ratio of graphene quantum dot dispersion, silver nitrate solution and the trisodium citrate is 3-4:2-3:1-2. The graphene dispersion solution is obtained by dispersing 0.2-0.8 mg/ml porous graphene in water, acetone or dimethyl sulfoxide as solvent, and stirring uniformly.
