NOVELTY - Preparing nano-hydroxyapatite/graphene oxide/chitosan composite microsphere comprises uniformly mixing calcium source solution, phosphorus source solution, and graphene oxide, and adjusting the pH to alkaline to obtain a first mixture, subjecting first mixture to hydrothermal reaction, filtering and drying to obtain nano-hydroxyapatite/graphene oxide powder, providing chitosan solution, and mixing the chitosan solution with the nano-hydroxyapatite/graphene oxide powder to obtain second mixture, providing emulsifier mixture, and performing emulsification treatment on the emulsifier mixture and the second mixture to obtain microemulsion, subjecting microemulsion and the cross-linking agent to a cross-linking reaction, and then subjecting to post-treatment to obtain nano-hydroxyapatite/graphene oxide/chitosan composite microspheres. USE - The composite microsphere is useful in in field of targeted drug delivery, arterial embolization drug delivery, missile therapy, magnetic microsphere targeted drug delivery field, and intravenous administration field (claimed) and biomedical engineering field. ADVANTAGE - The method produces product having excellent performance, high drug loading and encapsulation efficiency; reduces the sudden release of drugs; and controls the release rate of the drug. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for nano-hydroxyapatite/graphene oxide/chitosan composite microsphere, comprising a core body of graphene oxide/nano-hydroxyapatite, and a chitosan shell attached to the surface of the core body.
