NOVELTY - Producing graphene, comprises (a) heat treating mixture including natural graphite and alkali metal to prepare graphite intercalation compound, (b) mixing graphite intercalation compound with pyridine-based solvent, and (c) ultrasonically treating the mixed graphite intercalation compound and pyridine-based solvent. USE - The graphene is useful for producing graphene dispersion composition (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method improves yield of graphene. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) producing graphene dispersion composition, comprising (i) mixing graphene, graphene surface modifier and dispersion solvent, and (ii) applying physical force on the mixed mixture; and (2) graphene dispersion composition comprising graphene, surface modifier physically or chemically attached to the graphene, and dispersion solvent.
