NOVELTY - Antifouling gel particles comprises 10-20 pts. wt. acrylamide monomer, 10-20 pts. wt. acrylic-based monomer, 3-5 pts. wt. graphene functional material, 0.1-0.5 pts. wt. crosslinking agent, 0.2-0.7 pts. wt. initiator, 0.1-0.5 pts. wt. catalyst, and 50-70 pts. wt. deionized water. The graphene functional material includes graphene oxide, rare earth cerium solution and isothiazolinone antifouling agent; and acrylic acid double bond structure is grafted on the surface of the graphene oxide. USE - Antifouling gel particles used in ship, bridge, petroleum drilling platform, and pipeline. ADVANTAGE - The antifouling gel particle has synergistic effect, realizes triple antifouling mechanism, and improves the efficiency of antifouling and antibacterial, graphene oxide has slow-release characteristics, which can effectively control the seepage of antifouling agents and achieve long-lasting antifouling effects, and improves the mechanical properties of antifouling gel particles. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing antifouling gel particles, comprising (i) preparing graphene functional materials, and (ii) preparing antifouling gel particles.
