NOVELTY - The blanket has a laminated structure comprising a bottom sheet and a top sheet (1) having electromagnetic field (EMF) shielding embedded in bottom sheet. A batting layer (2,4) and far-infrared-emitting bioceramic beads (3) are set between the sheets. The laminate structure is quilted together to join the layers (5) and retain the beads in quilted pockets (7). The margins of the blanket do not include beads. The margin has a width between 5cm and 15cm. The aromatherapy pocket is made of a porous material to permit passage through of aerosolized aromatherapy particles. The far infrared (FIR)-emitting bioceramic beads comprise material selected from sepiolite, quartz, kaulin, and charcoal. The FIR-emitting bioceramic beads comprise tourmaline ceramic beads, alkaline ceramic beads, titanium dioxide ceramic beads, graphene ceramic beads, maifan stone ceramic beads, negative ion ceramic beads and silver ion ceramic beads. The metal is selected from silver, iron, steel, nickel or copper. USE - Weighted blanket for covering user and providing health and wellness benefits. ADVANTAGE - The Maifan Stone has strong adsorption ability for heavy metal ions and reduces bacteria concentration, by inhibiting its reproduction speed. The total weight of the blanket is mostly provided by the bioceramic beads and ranges from 8kg to 15kg for an adult, increasing with the user's body size. The exposure of FIR and blocked EMFs provides a healthy condition during sleep and for better health and wellness. The blanket is worn over the user with the envelope close to the user's head, so that releasing aromatherapy vapors/scent close to the user's nose provides the relaxing and calming effect and enhances the sleep quality. The benefits of weighted blankets are significantly enhanced by adding materials designed to provide FIR to the user during sleep. The energy waves penetrate the body up to 10 cm and elevate the surface temperature just slightly enough to increase the body's blood flow through expanding the capillaries. The natural clay forming the ceramic beads has a porous surface which easily absorbs the moisture to maintain dryness and air circulation between the layers of the blanket. The continuous shielding is provided and the breathability of the overall blanket is reduced. The thru-holes are made in the foil to improve breathability while providing shielding.
