NOVELTY - Preparing battery cathode material comprises mixing soluble gallium source, soluble indium source, carbon source, template agent and water and freeze-drying to obtain precursor mixed powder and calcining precursor mixed powder under reduced atmosphere to obtain the battery cathode material. USE - The cathode material is useful in lithium metal battery and lithium ion battery (claimed). DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for battery cathode material is prepared by the above mentioned method comprising graphene and liquid metal particles supported on the surface of the graphene, where the liquid metal particles are gallium-indium.
