NOVELTY - A primary overflow fluid comprises 10-50 nm platinum particles loaded on surface of graphene oxide. The graphene oxide has 10-100 nm nano-holes on the surface. USE - The primary overflow fluid is used for preparing hydrogen storage material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The primary overflow fluid improves the efficiency of hydrogen overflow and room temperature hydrogen storage performance of hydrogen storage material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparation of the primary overflow fluid comprising mixing chloroplatinic acid with graphene oxide, adding vitamin C as reducing agent, dissolving in water, mixing, and hydrothermally reacting to obtain Pt-GO; and subjecting to microwave pore formation, washing and freeze-drying; and (2) preparation of the composite hydrogen storage material comprising adding zirconium chloride, terephthalic acid and formic acid at ratio of 100:100:1 to dimethylformamide, adding 5 wt.% primary overflow fluid, ultrasonically mixing, hydrothermally reacting to 100-120 degrees C for 20-24 hours, filtering, washing, and subjecting to solvent replacement method to remove residual solvent.
