NOVELTY - Removing 2-methylisoborneol and earthy odour in drinking water comprises (a) introducing the drinking water to be treated into an air flotation device, using the air flotation device to recover algae and floc impurities in the water to obtain drinking water, (b) adding the catalytic adsorbent into the drinking water to obtain drinking water that removes some micro-pollutants in the water, the catalytic adsorbent is graphene catalytically modified activated carbon, molybdenum sulfide catalytically modified activated carbon or MOFs catalytically modified activated carbon, (c) using ozone oxidation process to further remove micro-pollutants in water, (d) using the catalytic ceramic membrane filter device for filtration to realize gravity-type low-pollution operation, and the effluent is drinking water for removing 2-methylisoborneol and soil odour. USE - Removing 2-methylisoborneol and earthy odour in drinking water. ADVANTAGE - The method can remove 2-methylisoborneol and earthy odour in drinking water, the removal rate can reach more than 98%, and the concentration of 2-methylisoborneol in the effluent is lower than 0.000005 mg/l, the concentration of earthy odour is lower than 0.0000005 mg/l.
