NOVELTY - Adsorbent preparation involves adding 10-15 pts. wt. carbon material graphene deionized in water ultrasonic dispersion to give a homogeneous solution. 80-90 pts. wt. mesoporous nano metal frame material of support material is added into the prepared homogeneous solution to give precursor solution. The obtained precursor solution is mixed with 2-5 pts. wt. hydrazine hydrate, 1-2 pts. wt. ammonium bicarbonate and 2-4 pts. wt. aqueous ammonia solution. The resulting mixture is heated at 80-100 degrees C under reflux conditions for generating black solution. USE - Method for preparing adsorbent for purifying formaldehyde (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method prepares the adsorbent in a simple, cost-effective and eco-friendly manner with good pore properties, large specific surface area, higher adsorption capacity compared to traditional carbon sorbent material, and less dust generation, long service life, and frequent replacement.
