NOVELTY - A gold nanoparticle loaded three dimensional graphene-based composite electrode comprises three-dimensional foamed nickel porous substrate, graphene that is grown directly on the substrate, nickel-cobalt hydroxide nanowires that are grown directly on the graphene, and nano gold particles loaded on the nickel-cobalt hydroxide nanowires. USE - Gold nanoparticle loaded three dimensional graphene-based composite electrode for use in lithium-air battery applications (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite electrode can be prepared in simple, cost effective, short period, and less energy consumption manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for preparing gold nanoparticle loaded three dimensional graphene-based composite electrode.
