NOVELTY - The device (100) has a substrate (102) comprising an electrically insulating portion. Graphene electrodes are formed on a surface of the substrates such that the electrically insulating portion is interposed between a bulk portion of the substrates and the graphene electrodes, and one of graphene electrode is arranged opposite to other graphene electrode to define an exposed substrate area of the graphene electrodes, where the graphene electrodes receive a voltage source and a ground source. A carbon nanotube is deposited on the surface of the substrate. USE - Carbon nanotube semiconductor device. ADVANTAGE - The graphene electrodes determine an arrangement of the carbon nanotube, so that a predefined arrangement of carbon nanotube arrays on the substrate is allowed, thus increasing control of an overall arrangement of the nanotube.
