NOVELTY - Method for producing tubular graphene, involves dispersing multi-wall carbon nanotube and sodium nitrate in concentrated sulfuric acid and mixing solution in ice water bath, adding potassium permanganate into solution, controlling temperature, removing ice water bath, mixing solution, adding water, adding 30% hydrogen peroxide and water to the solution, centrifuging the solution, washing and vacuum-drying the solution, ultraphonic dispersing the obtained mixture in water, adding sodium borohydride, mixing, centrifuging, washing and vacuum-drying obtained product. USE - The method is useful for producing tubular graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The tubular graphene has high electrochemical and capacitive property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Method for producing tubular graphene, involves (a) dispersing (in g): multi-wall carbon nanotube (2-4) and sodium nitrate (1-2) in concentrated sulfuric acid (46-92 ml) and mixing solution in ice water bath for 50-60 minutes, adding potassium permanganate (6-12) into the solution and controlling temperature to less than 20 degrees C, removing ice water bath and mixing solution at 32-36 degrees C for 50-70 minutes, adding water (92 ml) into the solution, adding 30% hydrogen peroxide (20-50 ml) and water (200-400 ml) to the obtained solution, centrifuging the solution, and washing and vacuum-drying the solution, and (b) ultraphonic dispersing the obtained mixture in water (50-100 ml), and adding the mixture into sodium borohydride (500 mg), mixing solution for 18-26 hours, centrifuging the solution, washing and vacuum-drying obtained product.
