NOVELTY - Preparing coal-based graphene comprises (i) raw material pre-processing, crushing coal to 80-500 meshes, the ratio of coal powder: catalyst is 1:0.01-0.1, ball-milling and mixing uniformly to obtain the mixture, (ii) taking graphite mixture to obtain graphitized mixture, (iii) taking 1 pts. wt. graphitized material and 40-120 pts. wt. concentrated sulfuric acid at -5-5 degrees C, stirring uniformly, adding potassium permanganate, reacting, adding deionized water, adding hydrogen peroxide, stirring evenly, washing, purifying and drying obtain graphene water, drying to obtain the product. USE - The method is useful for preparing coal-based graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is economical, produces high quality graphene and is suitable for large scale production. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing coal-based graphene comprises (i) raw material pre-processing, crushing coal to 80-500 meshes, the ratio of coal powder: catalyst is 1:0.01-0.1, ball-milling and mixing uniformly to obtain the mixture, (ii) taking graphite mixture at 2000-3000 degrees C for 1-24 hours to obtain graphitized mixture, (iii) taking 1 pts. wt. graphitized material and 40-120 pts. wt. concentrated sulfuric acid at -5-5 degrees C, stirring uniformly, adding 3-5 pts. wt. potassium permanganate, reacting at 30-50 degrees C, reacting for 30-90 minutes, adding 40-100 pts. wt. deionized water, reacting at 90-100 degrees C for 15-30 minutes, adding 5-10 pts. wt. hydrogen peroxide, stirring evenly, washing, purifying and drying obtain graphene water, drying at 400-1200 degrees C to obtain the product.
