NOVELTY - An additive contains graphene and polymer in a weight ratio of 1:0.01-150. USE - Additive is useful for preparation of polymer material in laser marking applications (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The additive is safe and environmentally-friendly, reduces energy consumption, and can be prepared with high yield in simple and economical manner. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of additive, which involves dissolving polymer in an organic solvent in a volume ratio of 1:1-1000 g/ml, uniformly mixing, stirring the mixture to obtain a polymer solution, adding graphene to the polymer solution in a weight ratio of 1:10-12000 g/ml and then ultrasonically dispersing, stirring the mixture and then filtering, and drying; and (2) use of additive for preparation of polymer material in laser marking applications.
