NOVELTY - Production of silver/ferrite/graphene composite material involves adding graphite powder to concentrated sulfuric acid, stirring, adding anhydrous sodium nitrate, stirring, adding potassium permanganate and deionized water, obtaining graphene oxide, adding graphene oxide to absolute ethanol, obtaining a graphene oxide dispersion, adding cobalt nitrate hexahydrate, iron nitrate nonahydrate and silver nitrate to absolute ethanol, stirring, obtaining nitrate mixed liquid, mixing nitrate mixed liquid and graphene oxide dispersion, adding sodium acetate, stirring, and drying. USE - Production of silver/ferrite/graphene composite material used as purifying agent in treatment of bacteria contamination and lead(II) contamination. ADVANTAGE - The method enables environmentally-friendly and easy production of safe silver/ferrite/graphene composite material having excellent antibacterial property, sterilization effect and magnetic property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Production of silver/ferrite/graphene composite material involves adding graphite powder to concentrated sulfuric acid with concentration of 98 wt.%, stirring, adding anhydrous sodium nitrate, stirring, providing resultant mixture in an ice bath, adding potassium permanganate, stirring, reacting at 20 degrees C or less for 30 minutes, heating to 35 degrees C, maintaining for 60 minutes, adding deionized water, reacting at 98 degrees C or less for 15 minutes, adding water and 30% hydrogen peroxide, cooling, centrifuging at 10000 rpm for 10 minutes, sequentially washing with deionized water and ethanol, drying at 40 degrees C, obtaining graphene oxide, adding graphene oxide to absolute ethanol, ultrasonically processing for 30 minutes, obtaining a graphene oxide dispersion, adding cobalt nitrate hexahydrate, iron nitrate nonahydrate and silver nitrate to absolute ethanol, stirring for 30 minutes, obtaining nitrate mixed liquid, mixing nitrate mixed liquid and graphene oxide dispersion, stirring for 30 minutes, adding 2.16 g sodium acetate, stirring for 30 minutes, obtaining mixed solution, adding resultant mixed solution to polytetrafluoroethylene-lined stainless steel reactor, heating at 200 degrees C for 18 hours, cooling to room temperature, sequentially washing with deionized water and ethanol, separating, and drying at 60 degrees C for 18 hours. The ratio of graphite powder, concentrated sulfuric acid, anhydrous sodium nitrate and potassium permanganate is 1 g:20 mL:0.25 g:2 g. The ratio of obtained reaction solution, deionized water, water and hydrogen peroxide is 15 mL:23 mL:70 mL:5 mL. The ratio of graphene oxide and anhydrous ethanol is 0.12 g:60 mL. The ratio of cobalt nitrate hexahydrate, iron nitrate nonahydrate, silver nitrate and absolute ethanol is 0.145 g:0.4025 g:0.126 g: 20 mL.
