NOVELTY - Preparation of redox graphene/cobalt ferrite/silver composite absorbing material involves preparing graphene oxide solution and aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide, adding cobalt nitrate hexahydrate and iron nitrate nonahydrate to aqueous solution of graphene oxide, then adding sodium hydroxide solution, adding mixture to polytetrafluoroethylene-lined vessel, washing precipitate and obtaining reduced graphene oxide/cobalt ferrite precipitate, dispersing, adding silver nitrate, dissolving sodium borohydride in water, heating, centrifuging, and filtering. USE - Preparation of redox graphene/cobalt ferrite/silver composite absorbing material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method preparation of redox graphene/cobalt ferrite/silver composite absorbing material by simple method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of redox graphene/cobalt ferrite/silver composite absorbing material involves preparing 0.2-2 mg/ml graphene oxide solution and 0.5-5 mol/L aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide, adding cobalt nitrate hexahydrate and iron nitrate nonahydrate to an aqueous solution of graphene oxide, stirring for 30 minutes, adding sodium hydroxide solution to adjust pH to 9-12, adding mixture to polytetrafluoroethylene-lined vessel at 150-180 degrees C for 9-15 hours, washing resulting precipitate with ethanol and deionized water to adjust pH to 7 to obtain reduced graphene oxide/cobalt ferrite precipitate, dispersing with 100-200 ml deionized water, adding silver nitrate to the mixture, stirring for 20 minutes, dissolving sodium borohydride in 20-100 ml water, heating at 40-100 degrees C for 0.5-2 hours, washing with ethanol and deionized water to adjust pH to 7 using magnetic separation, centrifuging, filtering to obtain a black precipitate and vacuum drying at 40-80 degrees C. The mass ratio of graphene oxide, cobalt nitrate hexahydrate and iron nitrate nonahydrate is 1:x:2.76x (x is 0.1-10). The mass ratio of graphene oxide and silver nitrate is 1:0.3-3. The mass ratio of graphene oxide and sodium borohydride is 1:3-30.
