NOVELTY - Graphene/poly(ethylene terephthalate) composite film comprises release film, adhesive layer, graphene silica gel layer, and poly(ethylene terephthalate) film layer from bottom to top. The graphene silica gel layer includes graphene and/or silica gel, the graphene silica gel layer has thickness of 5-10 mm, and the adhesive layer has thickness of 2-5 mm. USE - Used as graphene/poly(ethylene terephthalate) composite film. ADVANTAGE - The film: has improved tensile strength and barrier properties. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for preparing graphene/poly(ethylene terephthalate) composite film comprising (i) mixing 62-65 pts. wt. silica gel, 7-11 pts. wt. toughening agent, 3-5 pts. wt. graphene, 14-17 pts. wt. nano hydrotalcite, 1-5 pts. wt. dispersant, 2-7 pts. wt. double cationic liquid surfactant, 0.1-1 pts. wt. aminosilane coupling agent in the reactor, stirring at 200-500 revolutions/minute for 10-20 minutes, transferring output into the screw extruder, blending, melting and extruding to obtain graphene silica gel composite film by flat extrusion casting method, the toughening agent is hydroxy-terminated end-capped epoxy polyether, and its epoxy value is 0.1-0.2, and the nano hydrotalcite is nano magnesium aluminum hydrotalcite and/or nano zinc aluminum hydrotalcite, and the dispersant is nano-sulfate/zirconium dioxide powder.
