NOVELTY - A graphene composite material comprises 30-65 wt.% graphene, 15-35 wt.% chemical vapor deposition graphite, 0.04-4 wt.% conductive agent and 15-42 wt.% soluble polymer. The soluble polymer, graphene, chemical vapor deposition graphite and conductive agent are processed to form partial ordered nanowire structure. USE - Graphene composite material is used as cathode active material for lithium-ion capacitor (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The lithium-ion capacitor containing graphene composite material has improved energy density. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) preparation of graphene composite material; and (2) lithium-ion capacitor.
