NOVELTY - Preparation of heterojunction photocatalyst (6) involves mixing zinc powder, copper powder, carbon powder and solvent to obtain slurry, coating the slurry on surface of substrate to obtain a primary sample, and calcining the primary sample. USE - Preparation of heterojunction photocatalyst used for semiconductor photocatalysis application (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is conducive to formation of the catalyst with porous structure, for effectively increasing specific surface area of the catalyst, promoting light receiving surface and effective reaction area in photocatalytic applications, and improving photocatalytic efficiency. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for heterojunction photocatalyst, which includes zinc oxide and cupric oxide, and a heterojunction formed between the zinc oxide and cupric oxide, and has a porous structure.
