NOVELTY - Method for surface modification of lithium ion battery cathode using electrophoretic deposition of graphene comprises adding stable dispersion graphene into electrophoresis tank, coating cathode electrophoresis as cathode a metal sheet or an inert electrophoresis graphite sheet as a anode to lithium ion battery, maintaining electrodes with certain distance, under appropriate deposition time and deposition voltage, depositing graphene on cathode surface of lithium ion battery to obtain final product. USE - The method is useful for surface modification of lithium ion battery cathode using electrophoretic deposition of graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method can effectively increases electrode initial specific capacity and improves cycling performance, and is simple process.
