NOVELTY - Preparing hierarchical structure of zinc oxide-graphene nano-composite involves utilizing graphite, dimethyl formamide and zinc acetate dihydrate as raw materials. The 1-2g graphite and 20-40mL concentrated sulfuric acid are uniformly mixed and dissolved in 100-200mg sodium nitrate in water bath. The 1.5-3g potassium manganate(VII) is added to ice bath. The 30 wt.% hydrogen peroxide is added to terminate the reaction. The product is washed and dried to obtain flaky graphene oxide. The 43-100mg flaky graphene oxide is dissolved in 150-200ml dimethyl formamide. USE - Method for preparing hierarchical structure of zinc oxide-graphene nano-composite (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare hierarchical structure of zinc oxide-graphene nano-composite in simple manner that has high light absorbing property. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing hierarchical structure of zinc oxide-graphene nano-composite involves utilizing graphite, dimethyl formamide and zinc acetate dihydrate as raw materials. The 0.65-1.5g zinc acetate dihydrate is dissolved in mixture at 85-95 degrees C for 4-6 hours. The obtained product is washed with ethanol and dried to obtain hierarchical structure of zinc oxide-graphene nano-composite.
