NOVELTY - Preparing 5-chloro-4-acetamido-2-methoxy methyl benzoate involves adding N,N-dimethylformamide, methyl 4-acetamido-2-methoxybenzoate, and N-chlorosuccinimide into reaction kettle at a speed of 200-300 revolutions per minute and temperature of 35-40 degrees C for 2-3 hours. The reaction temperature is raised to 65-75 degrees C, and reaction is continued for 3-5 hours to obtain reaction solution. The reaction solution is kept in an ice-water bath until crystals are precipitated and filtered with a microporous membrane to obtain crude product of 5-chloro-4-acetamido-2-methoxy methyl benzoate. The crude product of 5-chloro-4-acetamido-2-methoxy methyl benzoate is added to deionized water, and ultrasonically treated for 1-2 hours at a frequency of 3-5MPa and temperature of 60-70 degrees C, and temperature is kept for 3-5 hours, filtered with a microporous filter membrane and dried to obtain 5-chloro-4-acetamido-2-methoxy methyl benzoate. ADVANTAGE - The method enables to prepare 5-chloro-4-acetamido-2-methoxy methyl benzoate, which uses antibacterial filler to reduce activity of metabolic enzyme in microbial cell to block the respiration, and interferes production of substance required for bacterial production, prevents mildew phenomenon on microporous filter membrane, does not reduce antibacterial component after multiple use of filter membrane, and has good antibacterial effect after repeated use.
