NOVELTY - Preparing nano-titanium-based catalyst comprises mixing nano-titanium catalyst precursor and melamine-grafted graphene oxide uniformly, carrying out hydrothermal reaction to obtain a nano-titanium-based catalyst and modifying nano-titanium-based catalyst with phosphate to obtain nano-titanium-based catalyst for polyester synthesis, where the nano-titanium catalyst precursor is prepared by using polystyrene-acrylic acid to modify the nano-titanium wrapped in polyacrylamide. USE - The nano-titanium-based catalyst is useful in preparing polyester (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nanometre titanium catalyst: has excellent catalytic ability. The polyester: has excellent color system, viscosity and spinning performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for use of nano-titanium catalyst for polyester synthesis comprising adding polyester into 3-7 ppm nano-titanium-based catalyst in ratio of 1-6:4-9, before the start of the esterification reaction, polycondensation reaction and end of the esterification reaction, where chromaticity L value of the synthesized polyester is 86.3-89.9, the b value is 1.6-3.5, and the intrinsic viscosity is 0.65-0.67 dl/g.
