▎ 摘  要

NOVELTY - A preform precursor composition comprises polymer and graphene at a concentration of 1-20 ppm. USE - A preform precursor composition for preparing a preform for plastic containers or plastic container e.g., plastic bottle (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - Graphene is allowed to be incorporated into the preform precursor composition, enabling application of graphene as a reheat additive. The composition has higher efficiency of antimicrobial activity than compositions devoid of graphene. Incorporation of graphene has no negative impact on the polymerization process and the output polymer based preform precursor composition. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparing the preform precursor composition which involves (i) condensation polymerization of polymer with graphene to obtain a graphene incorporated polymer resin; and (ii) solid state polymerization of graphene incorporated polymer resin to obtain the preform precursor composition; and (2) preparing a preform for plastic containers or plastic container which involves subjecting the preform precursor composition to injection blow molding to obtain the preform; and optionally subjecting the preform to stretch blow molding to obtain the plastic container.
