NOVELTY - Preparing graphene using waste lithium-ion power battery, comprises (1) charging waste lithium-ion power battery and converting graphite of cathode into LiC6 and LiC12; (2) crushing the cathode of waste lithium ion battery, ball milling to make the lithiated graphite fall off from copper foil and separating from the adhesive; and (3) adding lithiated graphite separated in step (2) to organic solvent, subjecting to ultrasonic treatment for stripping to obtain a suspension of graphene, filtering the suspension, washing filter cake with deionized water, and drying to obtain graphene powder. USE - The method is useful for preparing graphene using waste lithium-ion power battery. ADVANTAGE - The graphene: has 1-4 layers, and size of 500 nm to 5 mu m.
