NOVELTY - Combined use of coating and impressed current cathodic protection technology for metals in atmospheric environment, involves sequentially coating a primer layer, a conductive coating and a topcoat layer on a metal surface, connecting the metal and the conductive coating to a direct current (DC) power supply through a wire, connecting the metal to a negative electrode of the direct current power supply, and connecting the conductive coating to a positive electrode of the direct current power supply. USE - Combined use of coating and impressed current cathodic protection technology for metals in atmospheric environment. ADVANTAGE - The technology improves utilization rate of the coating and service life of the metal, prevents the metal matrix from being corroded, and extends the service life of the coating material.
