NOVELTY - Preparing ionic liquid/polymer composite film comprises uniformly mixing the polymer substrate and the ionic liquid monomer containing unsaturated double bonds through a good solvent to obtain a casting solution, the polymer substrate includes polybenzimidazole, polybenzimidazole derivatives, spreading the casting solution on the substrate, and the solvent is removed by drying to obtain a solid film, and performing ionizing radiation on the solid film, using ionizing radiation to induce the ionic liquid monomer to form a polyionic liquid and its cross-linked product inside the substrate, physical entanglement occurs between the polyionic liquid molecular chains and the substrate molecular chains to fix the ionic liquid components in the polymer substrate to form a composite film. USE - The method is useful for preparing ionic liquid/polymer composite film, which is useful as electrolyte diaphragm to an all-vanadium redox flow battery or a fuel cell. ADVANTAGE - The method: provides a simple operation, and suitable for industrial production, excellent performance of polyionic liquid/polymer composite film and preparation method. The solid film by derivative polybenzimidazole as base body for ionizing radiation, the ionic liquid component is fixed in the base material, the composite film performance is excellent, and the control process is more simple and safe. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for an ionic liquid/polymer composite film comprising a polymer substrate and a polyionic liquid fixed in the substrate by entanglement with the molecular chain of the substrate and its cross-linked structure, the polymer substrate includes polybenzimidazole, or polybenzimidazole derivatives, and polyionic liquid is polymerized from ionic liquid monomers containing unsaturated double bonds.
