NOVELTY - Preparing high oxygen barrier acrylate coating comprises (i) performing surface treatment of the inorganic nano-powder material with a silane coupling agent, (ii) adding the surface-treated inorganic nano-powder and part of the solvent into the reaction vessel, and dispersing at high speed for 30-60 minutes, (iii) adding acrylate hard monomer, acrylate soft monomer, pre-crosslinking monomer and some initiators into the reaction vessel, stirring and heating up to the first reaction temperature, and keeping the temperature for 3.5-6 hours, (iv) adding the remaining solvent and the remaining initiator, stirring and heating up to the second reaction temperature, and keeping the temperature for 3-6 hours, and (v) cooling and discharging. USE - The method is useful for preparing high oxygen barrier acrylate coating. ADVANTAGE - The coating reduces hydroxy of the surface, reduces agglomeration tendency and probability, can exist with smaller particle diameter, the barrier effect of the oxygen and water vapor is more excellent, the stability and uniformity of the coating is better, and improves PET film oxygen barrier ability.
