NOVELTY - Preparation of graphene oxide-water-soluble polyurethane composite material involves pre-treating graphite powder, adding 48 g potassium permanganate powder, placing in water bath at 35 degrees C for 2 hours, adding 500-700 ml water and 40 ml hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution, adding 2200 ml aqueous hydrochloric acid, repeating pickling, adjusting pH to 6, centrifuging to produce graphene oxide dispersion, pre-freezing at -45 degrees C for 4-5 hours, freeze-drying for 2-3 hours, adding polyurethane, ultrasonicating, and processing at 35-45 degrees C and 40 kHz, and drying at 35-45 degrees C. USE - Preparation of graphene oxide-water-soluble polyurethane composite material for engineering material and special fiber. ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide-water-soluble polyurethane composite material having excellent tensile strength and flexibility is produced economically by simple method. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparation of graphene oxide-water-soluble polyurethane composite material involves mixing 98% sulfuric acid, 8 g potassium persulfate and 8 g phosphorus pentoxide, heating to 80 degrees C, adding 16 g graphite powder, mixing at 400-500 rpm for 6 hours at 20-25 degrees C, diluting mixture with 500 ml distilled water, drying at 35-45 degrees C for 4 hours, mixing 450 ml 98% concentrated sulfuric acid, adding 48 g potassium permanganate powder, stirring at 10 degrees C for 10-20 minutes, placing in water bath at 35 degrees C for 2 hours, adding 500-700 ml distilled water and 40 ml hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution, adding 2200 ml 2-3 %mass aqueous hydrochloric acid, repeating pickling two times, adjusting pH to 6, centrifuging at 400 rpm for 25-30 minutes to produce aqueous graphene oxide dispersion, pre-freezing at -45 degrees C for 4-5 hours, freeze-drying for 2-3 hours, adding water-soluble polyurethane, ultrasonicating, and processing at 35-45 degrees C and 40 kHz for 3-5 minutes, and drying at 35-45 degrees C.
