NOVELTY - Chemical modification of graphene, comprises mixing graphene oxide with a compound containing-primary amine group, adding water or a mixed solution of organic solvent and water to obtain reaction liquid, and directly reacting under the alkaline condition to obtain functionalized graphene material. USE - The method is useful in chemical modification of graphene (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method performs one-step chemical reaction to bind small molecules containing amine groups and macromolecules with graphene; produces varieties of functionalized graphene materials; and is simple.
