NOVELTY - Lithium battery diaphragm comprises a three-layer structure whose materials are first layer of base film and lithium battery porous diaphragm base film, a second insulating and thermally stable layer comprising 5-99 wt.% ceramic powder or thermally stable material and 1-95 wt.% polymer agglomerant, and a third active material layer comprising 0.5-99 wt.% anode/cathode active material, 0.5-99 wt.% polymer material and 0.5-10 wt.% conductive agent. USE - The diaphragm is useful for a battery i.e. lithium-ion battery comprising but are not limited to consumer electronics, electric traffic and large scale energy storage fields. ADVANTAGE - The diaphragm: increases the soaking effect of the electrolyte to electrode; improves interface stability and compatibility between electrode and film; has higher ionic conductivity compared with the independent inert ceramic coating membrane; and improves the mechanical properties and thermal stability of diaphragm by integrated integration of electrode active coating and ceramic diaphragm, and safety performance of the battery.
