NOVELTY - Preparing nitrogen-doped carbon composite graphene coated cobalt nano-array catalyst comprises placing carbon source, nitrogen source, graphene oxide and carbon cloth as reaction raw material in the liquid medium, reacting at 180-220 degrees C for 10-15 hours to obtain the carbon cloth precursor, uniformly dispersing the cobalt salt and obtained carbon cloth precursor into the organic solvent for deposition reaction, drying to obtain the carbon cloth sample, the obtained carbon cloth sample under the mixed atmosphere of argon gas or hydrogen and argon gas, reacting for 1-6 hours at 400-500 degrees C to obtain the nitrogen-doped carbon composite graphene coated cobalt nano-array catalyst. USE - The method is useful for preparing nitrogen-doped carbon composite graphene coated cobalt nano-array catalyst is useful for producing hydrogen by electrolyzing water (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method is simple, safe, economical and suitable for mass production.
