NOVELTY - The material has a tin core designed as a non-hollow layer for a titanium dioxide shell for covering the titanium dioxide shell with graphene, where diameter of the tin dioxide is about 5 to 100 nm, and thickness of the titanium dioxide shell is about 2 to 500 nm. A silicon dioxide layer coated with a tin dioxide nano-particle is obtained after adjusting pH value to 1 to 13. The silicon dioxide layer is coated with tin dioxide nano-particles and a coupling agent-containing and titanium-containing compound solution of absolute ethyl alcohol. USE - Cathode material for a lithium ion battery (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The material permits volume change of the tin dioxide in an effective manner during charging and discharging process, thus improving electrical conductivity and cycle performance of the cathode material. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a preparation method for a lithium ion battery cathode material.
