NOVELTY - The battery has positive electrode (DD), electrolyte (CC), and negative electrode (EE). The electrolyte contains a chain ester and a fluorinated carbonic acid ester of 5% by volume or more and 95% by volume or less. The fluorinated carbonate is ethylene carbonate. The chain ester is diethyl carbonate. The fluorinated carbonic acid ester is solvated with lithium ions. The cyclic carbonate has an electron attracting group of 5% by volume or more and 95% by volume or less. The electron attracting group has a fluoro group or a cyano group. The chain ester has fluorine. The positive electrode has graphene or carbon nanotubes. USE - Secondary battery e.g. semi-solid-state battery or all-solid-state battery for vehicle (claimed) e.g. transportation vehicle, next-generation clean energy vehicle such as hybrid vehicle, electric vehicle, or plug-in hybrid vehicle, agricultural machinery, motorized bicycles such as electrically assisted bicycles, motorcycles, electric wheelchairs, electric carts, small or large vessels, submarines, aircraft such as fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, rockets, artificial satellites, space explorers, planetary explorers and spacecraft. ADVANTAGE - The secondary battery can be used in a wide temperature range such as at 40 degree Celsius to 150 degree Celsius. Thus, the vehicle can be moved using the secondary battery as a power supply even at 25 degree Celsius or more and 85 degree Celsius or less, even when the vehicle exterior temperature of the vehicle equipped with the secondary battery is less than 25 degree Celsius.
