NOVELTY - A carbon material comprises amorphous carbon material in which holes are formed in graphene layer plane of carbon microcrystal contained in amorphous carbon. USE - Carbon material is used for negative electrode for lithium secondary battery (all claimed) for electronic device e.g. notebook computer and mobile telephone. ADVANTAGE - The carbon material provides lithium secondary battery having excellent durability and high capacity.
