NOVELTY - Preparing photo-assisted catalytic multi-sulfide lithium conversion composite material comprises (i) mixing and grinding the cadmium sulfide and sulfur to obtain powder; and (ii) adding the powder into the reaction kettle with protective lining, filling argon gas, placing the reaction vessel in the heating instrument for heating for a certain time and cooling to obtain lithium polysulfide photoassisted catalytic conversion composite material. USE - The method is useful for preparing photo-assisted catalytic multi-sulfide lithium conversion composite material is useful in lithium-sulfur battery anode material (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The method prepares photo-assisted catalytic multi-sulfide lithium conversion composite material with high catalytic performance, long-term cycle stability and excellent rate performance.
