NOVELTY - Use of perfluoroalkyl grafted graphene (f-rGO) composite coating in separation of oil/water under severe environment, is claimed. USE - The composite coating is useful in separation of oil/water under severe environment (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The composite coating can resist harsh actual environment, e.g. boiling water, acid, high alkali and saturated salt solution, has high absorption capability, high cycle performance, durability of excellent performance, recoverability, and severe environment resistance, separates surfactant stable water-in-oil emulsion under action of gravity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for: (1) preparing perfluoroalkyl grafted graphene composite coating comprising dispersing perfluoroalkyl grafted graphene f-rGO with OPBA, uniformly mixing to obtain mixture, then immersing substrate material in mixture for dip-coating and drying to obtain final product; and (2) perfluoroalkyl grafted graphene composite coating is prepared by above mentioned method.
