NOVELTY - Cathode material, comprises silicon compound, first conductive layer and second conductive layer, at least portion of the first conductive layer is present between silicon compound and second conductive layer; first conductive layer includes graphene, and the second conductive layer includes carbon nanotubes. USE - The cathode material is useful for cathode sheet, electrochemical device and electronic device (all claimed). ADVANTAGE - The cathode material combines the advantages of graphene and carbon nanotubes, and can obtain electrochemical device having high cycle life and low expansion. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Cathode material, comprises silicon compound (SiOx), first conductive layer and second conductive layer, at least portion of the first conductive layer is present between silicon compound and second conductive layer; first conductive layer includes graphene, and the second conductive layer includes carbon nanotubes. x = 0.5-1.5. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for cathode material, comprising carbon material, binder, or conductive material, where carbon material in the cathode material includes artificial graphite, or natural graphite, preferably carbon material includes mesocarbon microspheres, soft carbon, hard carbon, and (ii) binder in the cathode material includes polyacrylate, polyacrylic acid, polyimide, polyamide, polyamideimide, polyvinylidene fluoride, styrene-butadiene rubber, sodium alginate, polyvinyl alcohol, polytetrafluoroethylene, polyacrylonitrile, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, potassium carboxymethyl cellulose, sodium hydroxymethyl cellulose, or potassium hydroxymethyl cellulose, conductive materials in the cathode material include carbon nanotubes, vapor-grown carbon fibers, carbon nanofibers, conductive carbon black, acetylene black, Ketjen black, conductive graphite, or graphene.
