NOVELTY - A graphene composite material for nano-iron purification, comprises graphene matrix containing nano-iron and nano-silver, where the amount of the raw materials is: nano iron 20-80 wt.%, nano silver 1-2.5 wt.%, and graphite 17.5-79 wt.%. USE - The graphene composite material is useful for nano-iron purification (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene composite material has high efficiency and improved purifying capacity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) preparing the graphene composite nano iron material, comprises: (1) mixing soluble iron compound and the soluble silver compound in an aqueous solution, and then adding graphite oxide graphene powder or graphene oxide water solution, stirring so that the iron ion and silver ion fully exchange or adsorbed on graphene oxide up to form a combination of graphene oxide ion laden iron and silver; (2) filtering the graphene oxide load iron and silver ion solution to remove the residues, washing, drying; (3) sintering the dried grapheme oxide, cooling to obtain the nano-iron composite purifying material; (2) manufacturing an air or water purification processing agent, which involves: formulating nano-iron composite purifying material as a solution, and then spraying or dip coating up the filter medium, drying, to obtain the air or water purification product; and (3) producing a filter medium material additive using the graphene nano-iron composite purifying material, which involves: adding the nano-iron composite purifying material to the filter medium material, then using together; the filter medium material can be selected from polypropylene (PP) nonwoven fabric, polyethylene (PE) non-woven fabrics, PP melt-blown filter element, a filter element, a filter screen, a charcoal piece, carbon powder, ceramic filter screen, the filtered water from the filtering membrane in at least one of the filter membrane is micro-filtration membrane or ultra-filtration membrane.
