NOVELTY - Preparing high voltage solid lithium iron phosphate material comprises (i) adding the iron source, lithium source, phosphorus source, carbon source and additive into dispersant, where molar ratio of lithium element and iron element is 1-1.1:1 and the molar ratio of iron element and phosphorus element is 0.955-0.985:1 and grinding to obtain first slurry; (ii) adding the iron source into first slurry, lithium source, phosphorus source, carbon source and additive, where the mass ratio of the iron source, lithium source, phosphorus source, carbon source and additive are added in the step (ii) and the step (i) is 0.05-2:1 and grinding to obtain second slurry; (iii) spraying and drying second slurry to obtain lithium iron phosphate precursor; and (iv) sintering lithium iron phosphate precursor under inert atmosphere and crushing. USE - The method is useful for preparing high voltage solid lithium iron phosphate material. ADVANTAGE - The material has high compaction density and charge and discharge performance. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for lithium iron phosphate material, where the compacted density of the lithium iron phosphate material is greater than or equal to 2.57 g/cm3.
