NOVELTY - Sponge formulation comprises 50-70 pts. wt. aliphatic water-based polyurethane, 40-45 pts. wt. polyurea polyol, 10-15 pts. wt. silicon dioxide aerogel, 40-50 pts. wt. white latex, 60-65 pts. wt. isocyanate, 10-15 pts. wt. silicone oil, 20-30 pts. wt. graphene fiber, 2-5 pts. wt. foaming agent, 2-3 pts. wt. foam stabilizer, 5-7 pts. wt. halogen-free flame retardant, 2-3 pts. wt. tensile agent and 40-50 pts. wt. deionized water. USE - Sponge formulation. ADVANTAGE - The formulation improves waterproof performance and flame retardant properties, and is environmentally-friendly. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing the sponge formulation, involving (a) adding aliphatic water-based polyurethane, polyurea polyol, silicon dioxide aerogel, white latex, isocyanate and graphene fibers in a grinder, dispersing to obtain a mixture, adding the mixture into a reaction kettle, and uniformly stirring at 30-45 degrees C under a stirring speed of 1000-1200 rpm, (b)adding isocyanate, silicone oil, foaming agent, foam stabilizer, halogen-free flame retardant, and tensile agent to the reaction kettle, and quickly stirring to a large amount of foam at the speed of 2000-3500 rpm, reducing the speed, homogenizing, and stirring at a medium speed to obtain a foaming liquid, (c) placing the foaming liquid in an oven, curing at 60-70 degrees C for 1-1.5 hours to obtain a sponge body, fast-curing, and drying by hot air blowing on the surface of the sponge body, and (d) trimming the cured and dried sponge body, and packaging.
