NOVELTY - A high impact-resistant and heat-resistant polycarbonate material comprises (a) 65-85 pts. wt. aromatic polycarbonate, (b) 10-35 pts. wt. sulfonated polystyrene thermoplastic elastomer, (c) 0-10 pts. wt., preferably 3-5 pts. wt. phosphorylated polystyrene thermoplastic elastomer, (d) 0-10 pts. wt., preferably 0-5 pts. wt. azonium ionized or phosphonium ionized polystyrene thermoplastic elastomer, (e) 1-5 pts. wt. hydrogen bond-rich inorganic filler, (f) 0.05-1 pts. wt. antioxidant, and (g) 0.1-1 pts. wt. lubricant. USE - High impact-resistant and heat-resistant polycarbonate material. ADVANTAGE - The polycarbonate material has improved impact resistance, heat resistance, aging resistance, and improved the compatibility of polystyrene thermoplastic elastomer and polycarbonate matrix. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of the polycarbonate material, which involves putting each component in a high-speed mixer for mixing and stirring, and then putting the mixture into a twin-screw extruder for extruding.
