NOVELTY - Magnetic recyclable cobalt-nickel-metal-organic frameworks doped graphene adsorbent comprises bimetallic cobalt-nickel organic framework compound supported on graphene. USE - The adsorbent is useful for adsorbing organic dyes (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The adsorbent has increased specific surface area, increased active sites, enhanced chemical stability and enhanced adsorptive capacity, achieves high-efficiency adsorption and separation of methylene blue, Congo red and neutral red, and is easy to separate from the solution, recycle and reuse. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for the following: (1) a method for preparing the magnetic recyclable cobalt-nickel-metal-organic frameworks doped graphene adsorbent, involving (i) adding 0.275-0.475 mmol cobalt nitrate, 0.275-0.475 mmol nickel nitrate and 0.65-0.85 mmol 2-aminoterephthalic acid to 36 ml solvent for 40 KHz ultrasonic treatment for 30 minutes, placing the obtained product in a sealed reactor, heating at 160-220 degrees C for 20-28 hours, naturally cooling to room temperature, collecting the solid, washing several times with secondary water, and drying the obtained solid at 60 degrees C overnight to obtain magnetic cobalt-nickel-metal-organic frameworks powder, where the solvent is a mixed solution of 30-33 ml N,N-dimethylformamide, 1.5-3 ml ethanol and 1.5-3 ml secondary water, and (ii) adding graphene and the prepared powder to water, and controlling the concentration of graphene in the system to 3-8 mg/ml, and the concentration of the prepared powder to 5-10 mg/ml, ultrasonically treating at 40 KHz for 20-40 minutes to form a uniform dispersion, and vacuum-drying at 60 degrees C to obtain the product; and (2) a method for adsorbing organic dyes using the adsorbent, involving adding the adsorbent to aqueous solution containing methylene blue, Congo red and neutral red, shaking and adsorbing in a constant temperature oscillator for 60-120 minutes, and recovering the adsorbent with a magnet, where the organic dyes are methylene blue, Congo red and neutral red.
