NOVELTY - A high-toughness graphene oxide-melamine resin composite contains nanocrystalline cellulose, rare earth cerium fluoride, melamine resin, 37% aqueous formaldehyde, graphene oxide, trifluoroethyl methacrylate, polyacrylonitrile, polyethylene oxide, tert-butyl hydroperoxide, dimethylformamide, cosolvent comprising dimethylformamide/dichloromethane in volume ratio of 1:1, citric acid, AMP-95 (RTM: 2-Amino-2-methyl-1-propanol) as alkaline pH adjusting agent, and ethanol. USE - High-toughness graphene oxide-melamine resin composite (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The graphene oxide-melamine resin composite has excellent toughness, thermal conductivity, crack resistance and fluorescent effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A high-toughness graphene oxide-melamine resin composite contains 1.6-2.1 pts. wt. nanocrystalline cellulose, 0.2-0.3 pt. wt. rare earth cerium fluoride, 20-25 pts. wt. melamine resin, 40-45 pts. wt. 37% aqueous formaldehyde, 1.8-2.1 pts. wt. graphene oxide, 0.7-0.9 pt. wt. trifluoroethyl methacrylate, 0.7-0.9 pt. wt. polyacrylonitrile, 0.2-0.3 pt. wt. polyethylene oxide, 0.3-0.5 pt. wt. tert-butyl hydroperoxide, dimethylformamide, cosolvent comprising dimethylformamide/dichloromethane in volume ratio of 1:1, citric acid, AMP-95 (RTM: 2-Amino-2-methyl-1-propanol) as alkaline pH adjusting agent, and ethanol. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for preparation of high-toughness graphene oxide-melamine resin composite, which involves dissolving polyacrylonitrile in dimethylformamide to form 4 wt.% solution (I), dissolving polyethylene oxide in cosolvent to form 4 wt.% solution (II), mixing solutions (I) and (II), adding nanocrystalline cellulose, rare earth cerium fluoride and graphene oxide to mixed solution, stirring, adding trifluoroethyl methacrylate and tert-butyl hydroperoxide to mixture, heating mixture at 60-70 degrees C, stirring reaction mixture for 1-2 hours, filtering, washing filter cake with ethanol 2-3 times to obtain modified graphene oxide, mixing 37% aqueous formaldehyde and melamine resin, heating mixture at 70-75 degrees C, stirring until mixture is completely dissolved, adding mixed solution to modified graphene oxide, stirring for 10-20 minutes, adding alkaline pH adjusting agent to mixture, adjusting pH value to 8-9, reacting the mixture for 3-4 hours to obtain graphene oxide-containing melamine resin prepolymer, placing prepolymer in a vacuum oven at 30 degrees C to remove water, adjusting pH value to 5-6 using citric acid, molding and curing in oven at 50 degrees C for 8-9 hours.
