NOVELTY - The device has a set of film heaters wound on a refrigerant pipeline, where each film heater is connected in series with a total current detection device after being connected in parallel with each other as a branch. A controller controls the film heaters to enter a defrosting stage according to a detected total current value. USE - The defrosting device is used in an evaporator of refrigerator (claimed) and air conditioner. ADVANTAGE - The device directly attaches the film heater on the evaporator cooling medium pipeline, so that the heat generated by the heater can directly contact with the frost. The heat transfer speed is fast, the heat distribution is uniform, the defrosting efficiency is high and the energy is saved. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are included for: (1) evaporator comprising multiple cooling medium pipelines, connecting elbow, controller and multiple film heaters wound on the cooling medium pipeline; and (2) evaporator defrosting control method; and (3) refrigerator whose evaporator uses the defrosting control method.
