NOVELTY - Preparing tin dioxide nanorod array/reduced graphene oxide complex nanomaterial comprises using sodium stannate tetrahydrate, absolute ethanol and water. USE - The stannic oxide nanorod array/reduced graphene oxide complex nanomaterial is useful in making formaldehyde gas sensor (claimed), and useful as a gas-sensitive material preferably for formaldehyde gas. ADVANTAGE - The material: exhibits a highly sensitive and prominent effect. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for making the formaldehyde gas sensor comprising (a) mixing coated ceramic tube the prepared tin dioxide nanorod array/reduced graphene oxide complex nanomaterial with absolute ethanol, completely grinding it into a uniform paste, and applying it uniformly on the surface of the alumina ceramic tube by the spin coating method, and sensitive materials must completely cover the electrode, and drying it in the shade for 1-3 days, (b) welding the component, welding the electrode lead of the ceramic tube to the component base, and then welding the heating wire through the ceramic tube to the base, (c) placing aging on the aging stage of the gas sensor for one week, and taking out the aging device to test the gas sensing performance.
